ok, i forgot to mention how amazing the singapore airport is.. definitely compared to the doha airport. the bathrooms are spacious and very clean and modern. and across the hall from the bathrooms i visited was a butterfly garden! it was outside, but inclosed. they had displays of pineapple and flowers for the butterflies to land on and feed off of. it was so beautiful. it was so humid and hot that my camera fogged up and i had to wipe it clean for every picture i took.
the doha airport has no walkways directly to your plane. it is a small, condensed airport with the main focus as a duty free mall. which was awful and worse than the ones in mexican airports. you showed a lady your boarding pass and got on a standing bus which took you to your airplane. the airport in singapore is much more like the ones in houston and stuff. it is huge and has a lot to offer. they show free movies and have a gym and a place to take a shower and even do your hair. there are heaps of shops as well.
sadly, i only have an hour to spend here.
