made it to KOLKATA (Calcutta)

this morning we said goodbye to thailand and hello to india. we flew air india express, and we felt like we were in india as we were checking in, haha. it was full of stinky (no offense, but its true) indian men with lots and lots of bags. they buy cheap clothes in bangkok and sell them here. they all loved to stare at us, haha. on my flight i sat next to two indian guys who i chatted with the whole ride. we talked about india and where we should go and what food we should eat. they were so nice and genuine and put me at ease about india.

it took my bag about 30 minutes to get out on the belt. great. the taxis were on strike today, so we took an expensive private car. there are no lanes on the roads, just people honking and going crazy and people running across the streets all the time. we saw trash everywhere. but the people seem jolly. our hotel is nice and has a rooftop garden. very nice owner. we are staying at the sunflower guesthouse. tonight we will walk around a bit and get a feel of the city. hope we dont get robbed!

did i mention that we were in india? INDIA? this is my dream. oh gosh. im in india.
